Saw this truck a while back in a Kroger parking lot in The Colony, north of the Dallas area. A bit overdone for my taste.

Just wow. Around here they'd get a ticket for obstructed view.

We lived outside Atlanta back in the early '90s, and there was a guy who drove all over town in a Datsun 810 wagon that was completely covered with glued-on plastic toy dinosaurs. Every metal body panel. Had to be over 1000 of them on there. He had the side and back windows "protected" with wire shelving panels attached to the inside, and always wore a white open-faced Bell helmet when he was driving.

There was a guy who lived near me in New Jersey named Hoop. He was an "artist" but used cars as his canvas. This was one of them a van with two front ends. Most were covered in neon colored fur and other things . Used to show up at all the car showsClick image for larger version

If I'm not mistaken, Hoop's stuff was featured on either that Strange Inheritance or American Pickers show. Some his creations were really amazing.

This Jaguar towing a teardrop pulled into a spot near us at Mesa Campground/Resort in Gunnison, CO. I'm not a teardrop junky just a Jaguar lover (1958 XK150 Drop Head Coupe) in my youth.

Are you sure that's a camper, and not a motor oil reservoir?

Could be. If so it would be just about right for a lot of vehicles built in the 50's. [emoji1787]

I'm thinking it would be the perfect size for two 55 gallon drums of 10w40 and a 500lb hopper of Oil-Dri.

Throw in a couple of jerry cans of gas, and that Jag is completely self-sufficient!

Had a friend who had one when it was new. Without the hard cover he got 8 mpg. He sold it to the local radio station after 6 months.
