That is a special talent in parking - to get it up on the lawn from the driveway, and then roll it into a tree. Maybe some adult beverages or special "treats" used prior to the parking?

Or, don’t let your kids play in the RV.

Saw this “house” near Seattle. It is almost water front and certainly has a great view from the pilot house. I am sure it is fully water proof, but I wonder how all that steel is in the wintertime. Must get very cold or there is a lot of insulation.

We are in White Salmon, WA. Looking across the Columbia River towards the city of Hood River we can barely see Mt. Hood. So, we decided to take a day trip and get close to it. Turned out to be a gorgeous day with few clouds. We ended up at a ski lodge at the base of Mt. Hood and got a few great pictures of the 11,244’ dormant volcano.

A few days earlier while in Hood River we got a good view of Mt. Adams, which is in WA. Mt. Adams is also a dormant volcano at 12,276’.

Trivia - the ski lodge on Mt Hood, Timberline Lodge was built back in the 1930s as a WPA project. It was used for many of the exterior shots in the movie "The Shining"

Last night I-65 north Alabama. Too much speed, not enough nose weight on the hitch, no trailer brakes, fishtailing leads to both truck and trailer rolling. Luckily, no fatalities.

The speed limits on his RV and on his tires were just suggestions. His trailer being physically connected to his TV was sufficient to stop it during braking—regardless of speed. Making sure his weight was within limits and properly distributed was just a bunch of nagging from weight police. He had been doing this for years without a problem.

He didn’t do anything wrong. It was the China bombs, a badly built trailer, and a faulty tow vehicle.

I don't have a photo, but on almost every trip we'll see someone with mattress on top of their car or in the bed of their truck, usually not secured very well and clearly catching the wind. Only once did we see one let go - fortunately for us, it blew off, hit on an edge and bounced right into the shoulder. God was definitely looking out for us!
