I can remember when I was about 4 yrs old (looong time ago) we went to my great aunts farm. She was making chicken and dumplings for supper. She was butchering chicken and I watched her take an egg out of one of them. I was absolutely AMAZED!! I had had no clue. I really had my horizons widened that day!

A like story, I got there when they were just starting the process... I was shocked when they used a hand axe but after that I was amazed...

My tail involves a Thanksgiving turkey that took off across the yard without it's head. I was probably 8.

My son raised chickens for his 4H project the last few years.
He named his chickens Colonel Sanders, Extra Crispy, Original Recipe, etc. etc.

My husband just texted me saying he just saw a Class A with a horse for a TOAD. I started laughing picturing a horse running along after an RV. He meant horse trailer.

A co-worker had a macaw that he taught to say "buck-buck-buck... I'm a chicken".

First time in our new fifth wheel we camped at an equestrian campground. Since we don't own horses folks would tie theirs off at our campsite. It was really cool to look out the window and see a horse looking in.
Everyone was really nice and they had been doing this annual horse ride for over 25 years.
On Sunday one of the men came over and asked if I know how to ride. I told him I had ridden some and could handle a good horse but not a real spirited mount. He told me some of the riders had to leave early but they had horses that needed to be ridden for exercise and would I mind saddling up? I was flattered by the offer but had to leave early myself due to it being my mother's birthday and we had plans for her.

It's not technically in Alabama, but I've talked to some high-up people in the State Troopers and they've been instructed to leave RVer's alone about triple towing because a lot of surrounding states allow it, and if visitors from those states start getting tickets for triple towing it'll affect tourism. They're also working on getting the law changed to allow it.

This one's a few years old but I just came across the picture again. We were driving up I-5 near Tacoma a few days after Christmas.
I made my DH speed up so I could get this picture.

Now that looks heavy duty! I like it if it was fixed up!

Actually took some decent work to put it together! If it were fixed up a bit, it would look really good!
