rp53, i agree with that. don't need full blown home comforts to have a good time, for some it's the adventure of just enjoying camping.

i remember as a kid we always camp in a 4 person tent. some of the best childhood memories i have.

A lot of RV places are selling "retro" models with all the modern conveniences. There is a demand for them. I did notice they are heavier, too.

Indeed. Some of my best memories camping was without even a tent. Slept under the stars. Of course, some of the worst memories, too... Sudden downpour can change your outlook in a hurry. [emoji4]

I spent $210 dollar on ice on my last 11 night trip . If I could save $100 on each trip it would pay for the Yeti pretty quickly . I think I'm going to try out the RTIC brand coolers and compare to my friends Yeti's and see if they are just as good .

Not a cheapskate if you have no need . Some of us actually have a need for coolers. We cant put enough food for 10 days boondocking in our fridge and need a solid cooler to keep food in until the fridge emptys out . Also I like a lot of cold drinks and IPA's in another cooler for the kids and I .
