And there was this. I had never heard of an "antler auction" and didn't have any idea why you might sell them.

Better, though- my son saw and remembered helping back at the ranch in Kanab. He instantly asked if we would help the guys move antlers into the building. When I told him he could ask if he could help, he marched up to a group of guys and did ask. They had him carry antlers and thanked him when they were all done.

Probably cut them up for dog chews. They sell cut up ones at our local farmers market for big $$. Like $20 for a 4-in piece.

Thats exactly what they said they were for.

They definitely weren't decorative as I watched one of the workers break a pair/set in half to make it easier to handle.

It was all new for me!

They said they expected to get $10-15/pound for them.

I do the same. It works like block ice. It helps to squeeze some air out of the milk/juice/iced tea jugs when filling them with water to allow for expansion when the water freezes. Once the ice melts, I use it for drinking and coffee.

In addition, I have a portable ice maker, which makes ice within 15 minutes.

I mentioned to the DW that I thought a nice retro with a color matched '57 Chevy would be a fine investment.

All I got in return for that statement was "THE STARE"

Yeah - That one:

Saw this parked next to us at Delaware State Park in Ohio. The elderly gentleman told us he made it for him and his wife to enjoy, very gypsy looking.Click image for larger version

Now let me interpret the "stare" I see it to say you buying a 57 Chevy is a harmful situation!!

Looks like it could also double as an Ice Cream or Cotton Candy stand at a fairground.

What the heck, if it keeps the rain off and is warm-----

Not in an RV park but parked in downtown Chicago. I thought it look expensive, just checked online and it looks like it goes for $400k+. We saw it when we were walking to and from our parking spot, ~ 4 hrs parked in a tow away zone and could hear a generator that was running the whole time. I guess they figured now worries, they won't be able to find anything to tow it with... I don't think I would want to drive it there.

Elvis is back in the house! Spotted at Mitchell RV Resort in Perrin TX. Great campground, but it is pretty out there.
