I know we had to have consistently exceeded 30amps and it didn’t blow. Though I didn’t check the heat/warmth of the adapter.

I'm sure its not safe at all, but why does the cover plate look like it made a particularly difficult atmospheric re-entry from orbit? LOL

And at a 45 degree angle, at that?

I have a 50amp camper.

The outlet is a 30amp receptacle.

I used a dogbone to adapt from 50 to 30 to plug in.

Next folks coming in who donít know are not going to like their stay, Iím thinking. If you really know what youíre doing on this I suppose itíd be okay, but I sure wouldnít be comfortable with it. Iím a little paranoid on my electronics on a good day.

Have you pointed out to management that they are probably not up to code? Maybe wait until you're leaving.

It looks like waves hit it?

I am no electrician (where are those guys?) but for single pole 50amp serving 30amp plug if the wiring is sized right back to the upstream box it is safe there. You can place a 15amp plug on a 20amp breaker assuming that there are more outlets to use the demand akd the wiring is sized correctly. I bet this is against a code somewhere because this is a dedicated 30A outlet.

You only need the double breaker if providing 220 service so a single breaker on 120 should be fine as long as plugs and wiring can handle the load.

I bet they were tripping 30amp breakers (they do this when they get old and in the heat/elements which this has seen) so they put in a 50amp. This would not be ok because now you can use too much power for the wire sizing. If they swapped a 50A 220 to a 30A single then that is better. Only way to know would be remove the panel...

I'm guessing that the 30 amp outlet that Doug is in was originally a 50 amp outlet and used both 50 amp breakers. For whatever reason it was replaced with a 30 amp ( single phase) outlet. That is why you only need to turn on one of the 50 amp breakers. Also bet that in it's original configuration the empty breaker slot had a 15 or 20 amp breaker in it and it feed the missing standard outlets. (since removed) Yes Mr. MOTO ain't I.

At Travelers World RV Resort in San Antonio TX.
Others have posted of folks with similar setups. This couple has it covered, a SMART car for rainy days, a Harley for sunny days, a nice big trailer, and a TV the weight police will be comfortable with. I THINK the sign goes with this site, it was a week or so ago and my remembery is a bit fuzzy... In any case, I resemble the remark.

I posted on this earlier... Couple ran into a bird that shattered their windshield. They taped the inside with clear packing tape before they pulled out. Not sure if they went directly to somewhere to get it fixed or continued their trip.

I've given up trying to get my cell phone pics to post correctly...

I'd bet they had to go somewhere to get that fixed; I'm guessing that's not a windshield your local Safelite auto glass place would stock!

I had the same thought, but I didn't think he had motorcycle.

That might not be so far-fetched. The photo of the 30-amp outlet looks as if it might have overheated and partially melted at the lower two inputs.

You would be surprised at what safelite has in their warehouse. They keep very few at the local store but within a few days just about anything made in the last few years can be had.
Last time I had a windshield replaced by them they had a stack of bus and rig glass at that shop because of a contract they had
