You can get a set of 4 threaded jack stands for 35 dollars, I have a friend that is using them but he is set up for a 6 months stay.

He read here (FRF) that you should not support the weight of the RV on the stabilizers ( they are for stabilizing only).

No lie- I drove past that rig a dozen times but it wasn't until we were leaving the campground with the trailer in tow did I finally stop to take a picture. So, you want to talk about being obvious... 22' truck and 42' fifth wheel stopped while I jumped out and took the picture!

Most of the time, the owners aren't home. But even if they were and I was asked, I'd share that they were definitely something I don't see every day and wanted a pic. I'm goofy friendly like that.

The best time to stop by is when you see them firing up the grill and putting the steaks and burgers on. No good host would turn you away.

I jokingly told a neighbor their stew smelled delicious and asked what it was. About 15 minutes later, she came over with a bowl of it!

(Sad part was- it smelled WAY better than it tasted.)

My wife is from China, so unless I am cooking I don't think you will say the food smells that good hahahaha Tastes good, but, I can live without the smell, even she says it smells bad

My Sister lived in Hong Kong for a couple years while her husband worked there. First thing they were told by other "ex-pat's" was that if you liked a dish in a small remote restaurant in a nearby town, NEVER ask what was in it".

Sometimes the "meat" used to bark or swing through trees.

yeah, my wife cooks out in the garage so the house doesn't smell. And when we are in China, I always examine what the food is and never eat anything with meat in it. My first trip there, I was never so excited to see a McDonald's in my life
