Well good luck, if you see them on the road go around them, it only as strong as the person who mounted it, hard to say from that picture, looks like a mess to me.

The accident would be when someone driving behind them is in awe at all that stuff and rear ends them.

Looks pretty well made. Who knows, maybe when they reach their destination they just flip a switch and hydraulics lower the whole unit to horizontal so everything is easy to get to.

I'd worry more about the Ice Chest and lawn chairs attached to the back bumper with some Walmart bungee cords.

This is true, but anyone who has been around awhile knows how those baskets bounce using a receiver. That what it looks like to me, by all means drive with amazement of what you see if it is still on and someone didn't roll over the trash. I'm just stating I would change lanes, but thanks to all the engineers and safety police, YOUR point is well taken.

I was asked about camping 30 years ago.

Before there were units big enough for everything, THAT is what we looked like!!! But, there were TWO vehicles, both loaded down.

If you look closely, it appears tthe framework is bolted and permanently attached at the roofline so I dont think it is just a receiver mount. I think they did a great job thinking outside the box but that's just my opinion.

It didn't. You must be using one of the two apps... they always seems to show the pic twice in a post but we don't see two nor will you when you load that post again.

Actually, that looks like one of the new 'vintage look' Shasta Airflytes they used to make a couple of years ago. Here's an excerpt from Wiki about them:

Quote:
In 2015, Lucas introduced the 1961 Airflyte re-issue with production limited to 1,941 units, honoring the company's first year in business. Re-issues were available in 16-foot and 19-foot floorplans and in three two-tone colors: Matador Red, Seafoam Green and Butternut Yellow, all with Polo White. These models included the signature "Z" stripe and the iconic wings. However, Shasta ended up recalling 1,736 of the re-issued Trailers for window and tire issues.
Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shasta_travel_trailers

One of the campgrounds we stay at every year got one in that they rent to people. Got a chance to look in it there and really does pay homage to the vintage years. The interior reminded me of the kinds of trailer that Dad used to take us kids camping in 30-40 years ago.
