In the UP of Michigan in the winter the Logging trucks have "42 Tires"! Back in the "CB Days" this guy kept calling for "That 18 Wheeler, hauling them Trees" the Logger called back and said,"Learn to Count"! We had a good laugh over that! Youroo!!

Looks more like a MB 1619. The Uni-mogs have a nose as far as I know.

I don't have any pictures to show you right now, but, in China almost all the big trucks have two front axles. Very strange to see, but, to them I guess I am strange to see also

That definitely puts the "Hi" in HiLo... That was a very good use of that HiLo.

Things you see in an RV Park

Tires are about 3 inches off ground. Owner claims this is the way to level the TT. No blocks. Supported by stab jacks in corners.

Petroleum transport semi's have that many also in Michigan. MDOT weight limit laws are different than most other states and you see a lot of "Centipede" trucks there.

Camco should use that as a product recommendation for the chocks, mine always folded when I stressed them. LOL...

I see blocks under the stabilizer (his leveler) jacks. I'll bet the frame sags in the middle and it bounces like a trampoline.

The chocks are just sitting there - not supporting tires.

I'm embarrassed to say that I RVd for 3 years before I learned this wasn't correct. It was an older trailer and the warning labels were gone from the stabilization jacks. I wish I joined this forum sooner, or someone would have just told me how and why it's wrong. I'm still learning some of the most basic stuff. Hence my description under my handle.

I guess I am missing something. How the heck did he get it up that high? Usually those corner jacks won't give you that much. I hope you told him he should not do that.

I was thinking the same thing! Crazy, must use an impact driver to get the jacks to lift the camper!

That would definitely give everyone something to talk about around the campfire that night.

I laughed my butt off one afternoon when I saw campers pull in and use an impact on the levelers to level the TT. After hearing the impact hammer for so long I sat in a chair and had to stare. The issue was that the TT came in nose high while on the hitch and they were trying to level it while still on the hitch.

They totally missed something but I did not. After about a half hour of listening to the impact hammering, they moved on to another site. Pretty sure what ever site they found it went better. LOL...

Car and truck manufacturers give you scissor jacks to lift your vehicle to change a flat. Unless someone tells you otherwise, people will assume scissor jacks have the same purpose on rv trailers.
