There was enough room only for two people to sleep...6 1/2 feet long when opened, and 4 1/2 feet wide. I then cut an opening into the plywood floor which allowed us access to the basement if our trailer underneath to grab extra blankets or clothes. It drew lots of comments as a first of its kind tent trailer for motorcycles......and aside from the tent part, the rest was all home made. Camping very inexpensively.
That tent up there reminded me of the Combi Camp tent trailers that popped up in 15 seconds.

It just came back on. Woohoo, I'll be able to sleep in comfort tonight. The baby too (poor girl, sweating bullets on her tiny little head).

Can't even imagine the inrush current there was. Maybe a hundred campers' air conditioners......

I would have turned mine off. Low voltage from a hundred AC's wouldn't be good for it.

People next door at a full hookup campsite obviously confused by city water verses fresh water.Click image for larger version

Aren't they just filling the holding tank with filtered water? I do the same thing when I use a campground's supply so I don't get sediment.

That's what the filter is for. Its the same water whether you pump it from your tank or let the campground water pressure do it.

There is one place where we camp regularly that has low water pressure in their campground water system (fed from a well), so I fill the FW tank and use the on board water pump for better pressure. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm stupid filling the FW tank at a full hookup site but hey it works better using our on board pump!

I'm saying we have filled like this before we left. We do roadside stops and use the onboard system and want filtered water in the holding tank, hence the filter.
Maybe I'm missing what you're getting at.

Weve been here for 2 days. They were already here when I showed up. Their hose has been connected like this the entire time.

Water pressure here is fine. In fact we had to regulate it down to 30psi.

Got it. Heck, why not ask and let us know. Maybe there's a good reason or you may be able to offer solutions.

If they were filling the FW tank, the filter would have to be turned 180°.
I'm not aware that the filter works in reverse.

Not sure what you mean. It looks just like the one I have hooked to my city water below.
