Huh? Did you look at my pic in Post 5779? Mine's not backwards and it looks just like his.

Here's another pic I took off the internet. The "hexagonal" shaped connection at the bottom is the inlet.

Maybe they sprung a leak or otherwise have an issue at or right after the city water port and are getting by, by filling their fresh tank and using the pump.

It’s possible that the stickers were put on in the wrong locations. It wouldn’t be the first time this has happened.

That’s the case for my toy hauler’s fuel tanks.

I have a friend that is a full timer. He NEVER uses the city water, he ALWAYS and ONLY uses his FW tank and pump......he says that way he gets the same pressure everywhere he goes.

He gets the same pressure all the time. No spiking or low pressure issue. Plus he can shut his pump on and off to guarantee there will be no unexpected leaks. When traveling I never hook up to city connection. Just use on board water and keep it full.

And as these CG's age they often have water issues so it's prob not bad to keep the tank full so you have water when it goes out around the park.

I was going to say the same thing as that is what happened to our SOB. When we bought it on the PDI we pointed out the docking station was messed up, the hole was not cut properly and the plastic docking station was shoved into the too small of the hole. Long story short, dealer fixed it, didn't tighten the city water line very well. We couldn't use city water so we just lived off the fresh tank and used the pump.

We have never been here over the 4th before, usually water pressure is pretty good. This week is very weak almost full. I'm filling the tank and using that. Much better!

I'll have to grab a photo but we are parked next to an old "road yacht" airex. Pretty rough shape but it works I'm sure.. Although every time they flush all the stuff dumps to the ground under the rig. Guess their tanks are not hooked up anymore..

Water pressure here is fine. In fact we had to regulate it down to 30psi.
If you had to regulate it DOWN to 30PSI, that IS a reason to use the FW tank. Use the tank and on-board pump and never worry about water pressure - hi or low.
