I don’t disagree with what you’re saying. I have taught that to my kids. I just don’t understand why anyone would want a dog that isn’t friendly. To each his own I guess.

We have a 12# Poodle that LOVES children. But, we make sure that kids ask before they pet her. That is important. Teach your kids to ask the pet owner before they touch.

Maybe they didn't want to get the wood in the other ashes in the pit or figured the ashes will just flow thru!

Best to keep the freshly burning wood out of the fire pit. Those darn ashes smother the air flow.

It is because of stupid iddyitts building fires like that, most of the forest in Arizona was closed most of the season this year.
That....and the drought/extreme fire danger. Too many leaving campfires unattended or too big.
