Having worked as a teen in a gas station and cleaning restrooms I don't think most even bother to aim.
The idea of the "hole in the floor" is great. Just open door, hose the whole area down, squeege water into hole and done.
Back then the seats in the ladies room were the only ones that had footprints on them.
I wonder what the bathrooms look like in most of these people's homes?

Like when you are done cleaning and liking nice for a minute. Gas stations, burger joints, all the same. I found the ladies rooms to be much worse then the men's room.

It turns out the fire was not near Truro, but near Enfield, near the top of a HUGE hill. I am going to guess something heated up pulling all that. Apparently the fire department were just arriving when this picture was taken so hopefully they saved the trailer.

Curious, no fire extinguisher in the truck. Nothing to do but hang their heads and cry.

I'd bet more folks travel without a fire extinguisher than those who do. Should've been one inside the door of the 5th wheel though. But in all that chaos, it's easy to be distracted.

Heck, I have two inside the camper, one in the pass through and one in the truck. I am never very far from an extinguisher.

Most people don't know it but if you don't replace your heater and radiator hose once in a awhile and they break antifreeze will BURN on a hot engine

Being the son of a retired fire chief, I carry multiple extinguishers in different places, hopefully easy to get at. 1 next to the bed, (can also use it to bash out the window or wall to get out fast) one in the bed of the truck, 1 on each side of the pass thru, another in the kitchen....etc. Remember, a fire can easily double in size with each time constant. Most people do not die from the flames or heat, but the toxic gasses produced. That little extinguisher in your camper will not do very much! BUT!!! Do learn how to use it! Call me a bit anal that way, but I have also been in the right place when a guy was in an accident and caught fire! Again, there are YouTube videos and classes you can take to learn how to use an extinguisher....
I also added an additional smoke detector in the hall leading into the bedroom. Cheap mod that will save your life.
Those of you who travel with your propane on, try to shut it off at the first sign of a fire. If you can safely. The responders will thank you....it can keep a bad thing from getting worse!
When all else fails, RUN! Distance is your best friend!

I have 2 at the door and 3 in the bedroom. That's in the RV! Not counting re S&B. After having a small house fire and prepared can't have too many in your RV!
