58 was the first year for all brands to use dual headlights. It was up to the Manufacturers if they wanted to or not.

Wow, does that bring back an old memory!
A friend of mine back around 79 did this in St Thomas, ON. He had a department store job and not much money, he was driving a 76 Pinto wagon and an uncle gave him a 73 Pinto wagon which had had a tree fall and crush the front end. He did this same thing to it, bed in back and a slide out cook/sink combo in front behind the pass door. Nicely sheeted in front-end, cut out the hump to give flat storage, etc. Somewhere in several thousand photos I have some pics of the conversion and finished look.
He and his wife towed it for 8 thousand klicks over 4 years. Had to use a 350# WDH and custom welded receiver, I think he added a couple of leaves to the backend of the TV as well.

Then he got a job at Ford Talbotville and never looked back.

Today they have a 40' 2016 Fleetwood Discovery, we all started off differently especially back in the 60s and 70s when money was much more tight!

Geoff

Back in the day, when I was a kid, we all just loved to go camping. Didn't care how we got there as long as we got to go. Didn't get to take bikes with us, but we hiked, explored and fished. Great times, and something to talk about on Monday at school. These days if there are no video games, cell service or Wi-Fi they would rather stay with friends at home.

Not true! I have a 7yo and 1yo that love it. Took the baby girl out at 10 days old.

Our granddaughter is now ten and we took her camping last year. No WiFi, no computers, no video games. The first day she was upset. After that she spent the whole day at the lake swimming, fishing, learning to drive the boat, kayaking, hiking. She didn't miss the electronic stuff at all. She says that was the best vacation she's ever had!

We couldn't take her this year, because we went to Alaska. She was really bummed that she couldn't go with us. Now whenever we ask her what she'd like to, she says "Let's go camping!"

Things you see in an RV Park

Can’t fix stupid!! Argue with stupid people and they will drag you down to their level & win ! Glad to see that she no longer works at the COE.

As a police officer I can tell you that she is in serious trouble for making a false report and phone call, if she dosen't get taken for physc eval first!

Clearly there's a mental handicap here which whoever is associated with her could explain.
One thing comes to mind. The Austin Powers scene

Nice, a modern version of the Messerschmitt KR175, 200, or the 201 with side by side seating instead of tandem.

I'll bet it doesn't have 4 speeds in reverse like the Messerschmitt!

Still, I'd rather have a 'Schmitt.

Saw this at motor cycle rally at Queen Wilhelmina state park, AR. The side car is outfitted for the dog. The Voltage was seen at Wall Mart in Mena. It has been featured before in this thread. Talked with the owner. Super nice guy. He is here for the rally as well.Click image for larger version

Yep! It has old school character like a Morgan. The Slingshot is pretty cool, but it’s just all angles, like a kids transformer toy.
