Nope. That truck is privately owned by a contractor for Spectrum Internet & Cable. He’s going camping!

Open the picture to its own page so you can view it with higher resolution and check out how messed up that hitch is!

Crazy! I'd like to see his axle weights. I'll bet the steer axle is some kind of light.

Wow,
Sorry guys & gals, this is one I would've been on the phone to the County Mounties to check out.

You may not agree with me ratting out but I'm thinking of the innocents who maybe injured or killed when it becomes an uncontrolled missile rolling down the road.

Correct me if I am wrong, but damn, that drop bar turned upside down then it looks like 2 pieces of flat steel supporting the ball onto a gooseneck adapter.
The torque on the receiver must be horrendous when the driver hits a bump let alone all the hitch parts!

Scary!
Geoff

My eyeballs are not as good as they used to be but part of the hitch looks to be bending or bent from weight of 5er. Also why does he have all the extra safety chain. I am pretty sure that when the hitch breaks the truck will not pull the 5er.

3)flimsy little class 2 ball mount, installed upside down, and possible welded to the drop (raise?) hitch. I cannot see it clearly enough, but I don't know how else to mount that ball mount on a drop hitch like that.
4) 5th wheel to gooseneck adaptors are generally frowned upon for RV type trailers.
5) safety chains not crossed (but might be a state thing... Some states require it, some not)
6) of course, with a 5th wheel, you do not need a WDH.

I can't imagine this ending in any way except tragically.

It got to around 10 feet above him and then saw me and did a double take and flew off. Scared me half to death! That dog was around 16lb, so I don’t blame you one bit for taking care of your little guys!
Mine are chubby, 14 and 9 lbs each. The nine pounder is just big enough to feed an Osprey and nest full of babies for a day.

We see the little rabbits out eating out lawn suddenly scurrying into the blackberry brambles and know their alarms just went off. My dogs like it at night because no leash, they run out to the lawn, stop sniff the air. Wondered WTH, until one night, they quickly ran back onto the steps and just out of flashlight range I hear a coyote yipping trying to entice them out into the shadows.

Our camp’s field is bordered on the south by trees, on the north by a road, the east by a dense and an overgrown pasture and the west by a marsh at the edge of another forested area. In addition to the deer and turkey neighbors I have seen a bear and a small wolf pack.

LOL, the DW laughed at me and said they were large coyotes but the contractor who hauled the gravel for our pad said, “Nope, there are wolves on the ridge above you. Believe your eyes.”

Our dogs know their routine which goes around an acre tract. I could just let them follow it on their own but I know that there are two areas where they are out of my sight. I also see eyes glowing in the flash light beam just out of that path. Deer? Most likely but the eyes always stay just out of the light. The deer are sometimes visible standing up. I also see where the deer paths are.

My imagination? Maybe.

Still the eyes are not in the same spot every night.

My 7.3L = 445 cu in
So 14 L = 854 cu in

Wow, by extension...
My 14-19 mpg - his ... don’t care! Nothing wrong with that.
