Maybe he left the chocks at home, but had the chain?

I see the point but these sites are so level. I still think paranoia.

I donít see any lock on chain. Just the chain hooked into itself. So I guess he just donít want to move too far down the hill.

I was thinking the same thing. Probably took the owner longer to put the chain through the wheels than it would for a thief to hook up, undo the chain and drive away.

Tarp Tents

At Gulf State Park, AL last week. Ingenious use of tarps - with A/C units.

Ok.. maybe I'm odd but I do that too when the camper is in storage. My thought is that it'll slow someone down from just hooking up and taking off.

When at the campground though I don't do it. Mainly because they'd need to get inside to retract the slides. If no slides present in a theft area I'd do it too.

Sorry.. I gotta be that guy.

It's not to prevent the theft of the wheels as much as it is to prevent the theft of the camper.

In storage all day long. It does have a slide.

But without a lock is it really preventing anything? He just has them hooked.

Staying at Candy Hill Campground for a couple of days before heading to the Gettysburg rally. Sitting outside enjoying the weather and this happens. Car was on my site and not in the street. There was a TT at the dump station which is behind the 5er and this guy went around him and cut his turn to exit the campground too soon. A little red tail light tape makes it drive able.

Those who know me I can at least say with a laugh that it didn't catch fire.

It amazes me that people are not required to take a test before they head off with these rigs
