Things Are different Today

My 'camping' rig is bigger than your rig. I've got a diesel dually 4X4 with a 40 foot fiver with 3 slide outs including a 4th slideout on one of the other 3. I suck at least 50 amps from the power pole with my voltage controller which drives 3 air conditioners, a full sized refrigerator, separate freezer, microwave and a host of LED lights around my RV and campsite. I have a pressure fitting for the water complete with filter and water softener. I have an outside kitchen (in addition to the one inside). I have a satellite TV with a gazillion channels for the 3 TV's in my camper, I have a special ramp for my sanitation hose to keep the sewage running......on adnauseam.

In my day, 'camping' involved a tent stuffed in the back of an old station wagon, a small cooler with ice, a white gas pump up stove, a lantern with a delicate mantle, a canteen, a bucket w/ roll of toilet paper, a view of the lake and maybe a book.

this is especially true when you can simply tow a 5er backwards with the hitch on the back! no need for a separate bumper pull line that way!
