Obviously we can't see the truck or what's in front of it, but from where it is, it certainly looks as if the way out from there is (was) to turn left and pull forward. The left trailer wheels would be well away from the ties before they start to move left, and the tail goes (would have gone) away from the neighbor's slide.

He would attack the women taking the pets ashore for a "rest break" Then he got bold and started rushing out to the raft up squealing and being very annoying. Next, he started pecking on the gel coat and swim platform. Nothing we did made him leave, until, one week day evening a couple guys went out and anchored in same spot. Three loud noises were heard back at the marina. We never saw Jeffrey Dahmer(sp) again.

Check out the custom rig and teeter totter in the first part of this, pretty cool!

He couldn't.

While his site was supposedly pull through, it really wasn't cause there were several big trees on both sides of the exit onto the very narrow road. While you 'might've pulled through with a van or small class C, there was no way to do it with a tow vehicle and a 35+ foot trailer.

Under ideal parking, his only way out, was backing back out of the site but he was past that opportunity. We had him pull him up as far as possible, (what you see in the picture) get him basically jackknifed to miss the trees and that's where the tail swing came into play.

To get him back far enough to turn left in time to miss the tree, the trailer wheels would have dropped right off the ties as the bank was also giving way. He was that close!

The campground really shouldn't have given him that site.

That's one reason that I always walk my site before I back in. Look for tree limbs, slide obstructions, pedestal positions, sewer locations, water spigots, tire hazards, etc. Only takes a few more minutes.

Saw this at the Orlando SW KOA in Davenport, FL. Looks to me like it might have been an old Army bus that was converted with the bottom half of it an Army Olive Green color.

OK, so this isn't a TT or a 5er because there's no turning room between the cab and the front of the RV.

Based on the pic, the overhang looks like it has to be supported by "something".

Did this thing have some kind of caster wheels on the rear?

No wheels at the back. Just a pickup camper that looked very heavy.

We are at Pinecrest RV here in Slidell, LA. I did not take pictures, so I failed the intent of this awesome thread. However we witnessed a first for us. Two campers down and behind us, we watched the resident get taken away in handcuffs. Watching the deputies do their duty indicated that I should not take pictures.
