Things You HEAR In An RV Park!!

A little off topic, but is it just my bride and I that notice this?

Seems, any or all the campgrounds we go to, which consist 90% State Parks, we truly believe folks all around us learned to speak "softly" growing up in a SAWMILL!!

By all means, we are not old fuddy duddys but when we are in or out of our camper, sitting outside under the awning or by our firepit and we are talking to each other, I truly believe the folks next door or 5 sites down can't hear us.

We aren't whispering but we sure as heck aren't broadcastig to everybody within 10 to 15 campsites.

Just can never get over the families that are so proud of screaming at their kids or grandkids, or just figure whatever small talk they have is important enough to put out there at a national emergency level...

Sure, we are all there to have fun, but I will never understand how folks do not realize they can be heard way down the street when they are just talking about dinner or where they are going tomorrow to get their medication for their multitude of mental illnesses.

I'm only kidding... but, maybe not.

I didn't mention a flex fan, headers and glass pack mufflers. ;-)
Six pack, distributor, points, coil, wires, flex fan.....now thats dating yourself! What next? Dwell tach? Timing light?? Crazy talk!

Well not sure why we would use indoor voices outdoors. Some of us have voices that carry when having animated conversations around the campfire and some of us have voices that are carried for us by Jack Daniels!

Haha!

Copy you on sour mash mood enhancer.

No, not talkin indoor voices outdoors, just, sheesh, I was gonna say normal voice levels, but that certainly varies from person to person.

I think we all have heard what I'm talkin about, maybe just don't notice others notice it.

I’ve noticed it and been annoyed as well. Fortunately, the rules of the campground quiet things down by 10-11 pm

I’ve been near this one or a similar arrangement. They had children (lost count of how many). Parents had the coach and children in the bumper pull.

The mom drove the 15 passenger van they rode around in.

Especially if there is "liquid" involved.
People talking and enjoying themselves do not bother me. Even a bit of mild cussing doesn't. I get aggravated at two things(verbal) at the CG... one is WAY too much cussing and the other is LATE night BS. I tend to go in ~9 ish. My DD and her crew stay out and drink/talk til 12-1A. They are usually quiet so it's on them.

Looks to be riding on his trailer hitch. Should not have any real damage I’d say.

OUCH!

My question is, do you keep going forward and do the same thing when it's time to leave, or do you drag it backwards?

Bad day at the CG. Former occupants apparently spilled about 10 gallons of diesel fuel and departed without telling management. Next RV came in a few hours later and immediately told office about an awful smell. CG relocated them and the digging has begun. CG management is NOT happy.

They should have read the sign about the slope. Hope the don’t try to pull in and go out the first entrance to the hotel (it specifically tells RVs and other vehicles with trailers to go to the second entrance) because they will rip out the engine. I’m certain they lost the tailpipe. But I’m not sure about the tanks.

Hopefully there is a CC on file for damages.
