I’ll pass. I wouldn’t mind having 40 years back on my life. But not on my RV !!

Used a Dwell meter, tach and timing light for years as they were a requirement on the muscle cars.....and the equipment wasn't overly costly - unlike the computers required today on the newer cars. There were some things back in the good ole days that were good!

I see the Partridge Family’s bus right behind it.

Oh......I’m sure that white lid goes down on the rear VW when travelling.
Yeah.......like that still wouldn’t worry me?

That pictured bus is 10.5'. The VWs are channeled into the bus so....gotta be less than 14' overall? Lots of places that contraption won't fit under. Looks like something that would be found at Burning Man.
Interesting use of a Westphalia.

I was thinking that that's a unique way to get triple level bunkbeds into an RV ...

Great way to watch the airshow every day, if your spot isn't obstructed by trees. Many years ago I camped under the wing on a couple of occasions. Took my bride there with my college roommate and his wife in a 182 during our first year of married life. The wives didn't have the interest in aviation that we did and they were ready to sit in the shade after 45 minutes of looking at planes while we continued our trekking. We told them we'd only just begun.

Cutting the corner
A new owner had a bit of an accident on Monday night at the park we are staying at when he cut the corner a bit, ran over a steel pipe sunk in concrete pulling it out of the ground, and ended up on the fire hydrant. Luckily the hydrant bent over instead of breaking.
The owner had just purchased the rig, his first, two hours previously. Not a fun way to begin your RV life.
They had to call out one of the big rig tow trucks to lift the trailer off of the fire hydrant. Unfortunately the large boom they had suspended above the trailer made hard contact with the AC unit damaging it and the roof.
Further damage was plumbing ripped off the underside of the trailer and a flat tire caused by the steel pipe embedded in concrete that was supposed to be protecting the fire hydrant.

I don’t read many forum posts to my wife. But this train wreck was just too much to keep to myself. I feel for the guy. I really do.

Nah, just put one of those “wide turns” stickers on the back of the RV. That’ll fix everything.
