So your the guy snooping around my brand new trailer. I went to get my pants on so I could come out to confront you but my foot got stuck in the pocket and I fell down.

I grew up in the area and know of the Park quite well. But I'm confused with the Sonoma State pic titles.

Back in the mid-70s there were pay phones in towns along the NW Oregon coast that didn't have coin returns. You didn't pay until your party answered, so you would dial the number, wait for someone to pick up, and then you had a few seconds to drop your nickel or dime in (depending on the town).

That was plenty of time for a pre-teen to get a message through, though - such as "having dinner at Johnny's", "going to be a little late", or if you needed to talk longer, "Call me at the Minit Mart" (or Sentry Market, or Chevron, etc, etc). All of my friends' families had a list of payphone numbers next to the phone. People would also use "ring codes" - where they would ring twice and hang up, ring three times and hang up, ring once and hang up as a way of checking in and letting mom know that we weren't dead yet.

To complicated. I had my own 800 number that asked for a 4 digit pin. Each pin rang a different home (mom, wife. Brother, etc.) I think it was called call home America

They are still around. This is from google images but the first one is from a gas station in the middle of Rockford, IL. If you zoom in you can see the little sign that says local calls 25¢

This one is at a gas station that's 2 blocks from my house. Both pictures were taken within the last 2 years.

Have you never wondered how to close a slide when the button don’t work?
Just cut the corner short, and press it against a tree or pole....whatever works.
See.....the side window in the slide is only half visible. You caught an action shot of him closing his slide. Nothing more, nothing less.

Did you have any problems extending it once you parked? This guy had it back out about 5 minutes later.

I'm honestly more concerned about the toddler sitting in the stroller on his blind side.

Yeah no. It was stuck and dead until the mobile tech got out to me... with no ladder... to work on a Schwintek slide... that has the motors at the top. And he seemed annoyed that I didn't have a ladder.

I'm here to cut your grass, but I forgot my lawnmower.

I'm here to fix your plumbing - do you have a pipe wrench?

I've been dispatched to change your flat tire - where's your jack?

Bus?

I don't think that I have ever seen a tandem axle school bus so I wonder what kind of hybrid this is. I also don't think he has any payload issues. I did not get close enough to see if the frame was welded anywhere.

I think that's from back when they made the whole bus out of cast iron.

Sebastian Inlet State Park - great couple from 'round the park'

First had to share our first shark catching - she got to to go back swimming

Second - I have NEVER seen the inside of a pelican pouch then caught this one midway of our fish filleting at the table - cool

Because we really did not catch enough variety for our grilling fish feast headed over to the local seafood market - this guy was waiting patiently to drive his owner back

TV Behind MH

This was not at a campground, but we passed them on our way to SC this morning. DH and I laughed at the size of the TV vs the MH.
