License plate is for/from another country.
If they can afford to ship it over to the USA to tour around in, the price of fuel is probably of little concern.

No, not mine.
No one has been home when I passed or I would have asked if their salesman had sold them that guard post as a slide stand!

I can’t criticize my second camping trip in my Wildcat got close but carefully put out the slide . It cleared the post by about 3 inches. So I disconnected truck pushed auto level and the trl drops that side about 4 inches water goes everywhere as I busted the water spicket. Lessons learned memory made life went on.

That’s a big 10-4 it was only second time in that trailer, we normally don’t put slides out first on any of the trls, but we didn’t want to disconnect to find out we didn’t fit. Only damage was to spicket the park rangers had fixed in twenty minutes. Claimed it happened several times a month and I was good. Still went out next day bought the parts they used to fix and gave to them.

I put the truck in gear once with the jacks up, and they immediately retracted with us feeling a nice drop. I immediately knew what happened. Good thing they're interlocked. Wife unit was giving me stink eye.
I made my own checklist after that, but it's easy to forget a step, especially if you get too complacent.

As a matter of habit (used to move mobile homes) once all is ready to hit the road - I do a complete walk around, checking everything including looking underneath, as a double check - and then get in the tow vehicle and start the engine to drive away.

That final double check walk around has saved alot of headches over the years.

I have the same habit, being a retired firefighter. Never moved the engine without performing the same procedure.

I do this as well, the final walk around is done with my wife. We go through everything together.

I do similar, but I do it with the tow vehicle engine running and the headlights and 4-way flashers on. Verifying that the lights are working is part of my final check.

Assign a number to your final check before leaving the site. Know that # number of items must be checked before moving.

I use this with my boat. 5 is my number to make sure, either in leaving the home or the marina, that all is secure and road ready - winch strap, safety chain, gunnel strap, bilge plug, motor chocks. Using a number for me is an easy reminder, though it may have something to do with my occupation.

As an example... 9: coupler locked, WDH bars, 7 pin, stabilizers, wheel chocks, electric EMS, water pressure reducer, bike carrier secured, compartment locks. There may be more as I'm still awaiting delivery on my TT, and some are just plain obvious (electric cord and water hose). Anyhow, this gives an idea and is what I will be using once I have the camper.

I point at and/or touch everything on my list as well as call it out. really cuts down on second guessing myself as we are pulling out. below is a great article about pointing / calling used in Japan.

I use an app called “RV Checklists”. It’s an iOS app. I downloaded it a few years ago and I don’t think it’s available on the app store now but there is one called “Ultimate RV Checklist” that may be a newer version. I’m not sure if there is an Android version or equivalent.

Hey, I lived in beautiful Cloverdale. My parents owned the town bakery.
