Have seen it there when all the sites in the lower section along the creek were flooded.

What to do with old lawn mowers? Make them into portable fire pits. This campground in Gaspé has many of them.

Great idea!
And they could have a siphon for the gas tank to light, burn, and eventually blow up the whole contraption!

But I'd bet the owner had it sprayed with the spray and peel coating like Duplicolor makes. Also Plastidip makes the product. You can spray it on and it dries leaving a vinyl like coating. If at any point you don't want it anymore you simply peel it right off. No sanding and minimal masking. They even offer a clear coat.
Here's a link for the product.

Back in the mid '80s when I was fishing in the Bering Sea, AK, the NMFS (Nat'l Marine
Fisheries) had a new truck delivered to St. Paul, one of the Pribilof Islands. It was completely covered in undercoating, the old gooey kind. The only things not coated were the lights, mirrors and door handles. What a mess!!!

I bet it isn't approved for use in California. I first thought... that's cool... then a vision of it rolling out into the woods or up to the side of a rig canceled that thought

Nothings approved for use in California. Had a zip lock bag of salad in the fridge last time through. Made me toss it out. A literal "tossed" salad

I see you havent visited Oregon or Wa. State. You are missing 2 phenomenal states! The Oregon coast is amazing and the Olympic penninsula, as well as the Coast of Wa. are exceptional.

I really liked this set-up. What I want to know is how he justified the purchase to his wife. My wife always wants to discuss "need" which really slows down the discussion.

Met the guy in OR. Rig is a 1999 not that expensive, he rebuilt the Cummins diesel, same length as an F350. He keeps it looking like new. Says he has twice as much invested in the 5th wheel as the tow rig.

I guess this is the only time you would have a negative tongue weight. If you put a fat enough guy on a bicycle, he could probably tow it.

Good chance if he figured how to pull it backwards he also figured how to attach lights.

Not in an RV Park, but on the way to one. Why yes, that is a window air conditioner. But whatever works for them! At least they can go camping.
