If there is any kind of tank liquid/solids above ground at a dump station, it's because somebody doesn't know how to dump

Have you seen the managery of the dump station... I'm shocked that the stuff even ends up in the hole!

He probably doesn't eat using his feet so he should be fine.

Good lord. It's just poo. Its not like its cyanide or radioactive. Some soap and water and you are good to go. Anyone who has changed a diaper has dealt with worse. I chuckle at the people who don the Stage IV HAZMAT suit just to dump a tank.

I agree.
I didn't grow up on a farm but poo doesn't freak me out like lots of people.
as a firefighter/EMT, I'm used to safe practices.
but being afraid of my own body wastes is a bit much.
it is funny how many newbies are so afraid of the black tank, when it's the Gray tank that's the bigger issue.

I'm glad someone else finally said it. I'm an ER and critical care nurse. The things that have been on my hands, in my hair, down my legs and in my shoes make a dump station look like child's play.

I am sorry but i dont want my poo or anyone else's poo on me. So no flip flops r not a option. And yes people have no respect for anyone so they dont clean up after themselves.

I'm the Maintenance Director at an assisted living facility. I can relate to what EMT's and farmers etc deal with believe me. Been there done that and got the trophy. Doesn't mean I want to deal with a mess some slob left behind at a dump station. Especially not in flip flops, which incidentally I believe should be banned from the planet. So many exposed toes that I never look down in the summer.

The guy in the flip flops is actually the smart one. Everyone else will slosh around the dump station with whatever shoes they have on and when done will climb in their vehicle and drive away. Flip flop man will take the rinse hose and wash off from knees down and be good to go!

I'm sure you meant non-potable (not drinkable).

I don't want to know what you all do with your feet for such a concern.

It's non-potable, but really only because you don't know where the end of that hose may have been. Otherwise, it comes from the exact same place as the water you hook up to when you're camping. There may be a check valve in the line somewhere.

That's the way it is here....When they bleach the campground water, and someone uses that hose at dump station you can smell the bleach for a bit...Not long

I walk around on and in horse & mule poo everyday,as well as cow and pig poo.No big deal.Human waste is a whole different thing, way too many desieses that will pass thru human waste as opposed to animal waste.I went so far as to build my own dump station at home so I can avoid the hep-c pits at the camp grounds.
