I'm in agreement with you. However we still put a board down for the stabilizer pad to rest on.

That guy won't be happy with his storage bags when he breaks camp.
That gravel will have cut the bottoms of the case to "heck" and gone.
I like to keep the stabilizers as close to 45° as I can.

It may. I do know that Lynx specifically says not to stack them more than 4 or 5 high.
But for just some stabilization- I don't see an issue.

I bolted 12x12x2 boards to the bottom of the stabilizer feet. Self storing when retracted. Next time (if there is one) I would put some 12x12 tread plate over the wood.

I really liked this set-up. What I want to know is how he justified the purchase to his wife. My wife always wants to discuss "need" which really slows down the discussion.

I passed this guy out on the road. As far as I can see- he loaded up his hitch haul and "trunk" with rocks.
I literally don't understand how he had steering, much less was going 50+ mph!

That's actually very close to the setup that I want. I want a 3-seat-row super cab setup from Lone Star Haulers. I did realize this weekend that I like minor trail driving and I'm not sure how they would do with that.

Maybe they are full-timers? We are seeing more and more setups like that when the Snowbirds hit Arizona.
