It looks like an 18 wheeler smashed into another 18 wheeler and there happened to be an RV between them.

Things you see in an RV Park

The last week of May, we were at Liberty Hill Park, a COE park at Lake Navarro Mills near Dawson TX. A motorhome burned. The photo I am attempting to post were taken by the Dawson VFD, we could not get close enough to get a good picture. We never found out how the fire started. Pretty sure there were no injuries, EMT never came to the park.

Good heavens! Glad no one was hurt. I can only imagine their horror when they arrived home to the charred ruin. In 2004, I saw a new Class A motor home that was wrecked by a weak EF-1 tornado. When I got over there to assist it was on its side with awning roller a twisted mess laying on a nearby street. They had left 10 minutes to see their friends new home their friends had just purchased before the tornado formed and moved thru their part of the RV park. Didn't have a camera so no pictures.

We were over there two weeks ago, in the campsite next to this one. It has been hauled away but it was obvious an RV had recently burned to the ground there. A large black area on the pad with the pedestal totally destroyed. I wondered what happened and if the fire was started by electrical short. I never heard any details.
By the way, this is a beautiful campground!

Interesting. Right down to the antlers on the hood. Great wheel covers too.

The fire was in site 26. We camp in that loop often, site 24 is one of our favorites, but was on the other side of the park in site 59 at the time. We were back there on July and asked the gate attendant if he knew what caused the fire and he did not.

Liberty Hill is beautiful and clean park. They are slowly recovering from the floods they had a couple of years in a row. It is our go to place, only 35 minutes from home.

After my first wife died I converted a u Haul type trailer into a camper put a house ho;d AC in it a little TV a bed and a portable stove and a dorm room refrig. Dog and I would pull into a camp ground and people would go hide from us. Remarried now and on our third RV I walk a lot with the pups and will stop and talk to anyone who seems to want to. A lot of great folks out there
