I didn’t even notice it had tires... too busy worrying that his rotor would take off the backup camera.

I was pulling into the RV park this morning and saw a F150 either hitching to or unhitching from a 40’ triple axle toy hauler. I did a double take but headed home.

When I walked over to take pictures, I had to laugh...

Here’s what I saw this morning:

But what made me laugh was the rest of the story:

As far as I can gather - since the spots here are cozy and there’s really not overflow parking, the F150 seems to be their kid’s truck (we saw them at it tonight) and must have tucked it under the fifth wheel to get it out of the road. The Ford dually is the one with the FW hitch.

Just goes to show- a picture doesn’t always show the whole story.

Not at a campground but some of my neighbors.

Palimino down around the corner, don't think he has to worry about running out of LP.

Pace Arrow belongs to next door neighbor, he stores farm equipment parts in it. Hasn't moved it in 26 years. He has a 120 acre farm 30 minutes north of us.

See quite a few setups like that. Actually a pretty good idea if you need to haul multiple ATV/UTVs and don't want a huge toy hauler. AAMOF, the big toy haulers usually have a garage area and will still only carry something that is less than 12' or so in length which still limits you to only 1 UTV. The only type of toy hauler he'd be able to get both of those into would be one that utilized the living space for hauling toys- which many people don't like the thought of. He centered the most weight (the truck camper) over the trailer axles. Guy seems to know what he's doing for the most part from what I can tell.

Yep. The primary activity is the ATV's....they just need a place to crash for the night.

I understand that this particular military operation was to round up suspects.

"We have some super reservists and National Guard folks out there in addition to our volunteer troops. God bless them all."

I worked on CH-46's in the Navy in the early 1970's and I read a story in a military magazine about a CH-46 (very similar to the CH-47 Chinook in the pic above) that had extracted some Marines from a fire fight in Viet Nam. The Marines were beat and all fell asleep. On the way back, they lost both engines. The pilot auto-rotated into a rice paddy so skillfully that the Marines never even woke up!
I will agree, darned excellent parking job!
