Now that's a classy looking rig. I would like to see the inside. That back bumper looks a little challenged though.

Doubt it would have been much worse than this overloaded F250.

He did not get the memo that air bags are the answer so he can tow his next even heavier 5er.

This reminds me of a guy at our lake with a log cabin... Or it looks like a log cabin. It is actually the box of an old refrigerated Prairie Farms dairy truck. It's set on the ground at his lot, and his wife painted it up to look like a log cabin. And I am here to tell you, she did a FANTASTIC job. I was 20 feet away from the thing and I didn't notice that it was painted-on. In fact, the guy had to point out the rivets in the corners before I actually belived him enough to walk over and look myself.

They refinished the original wood floors, covered the walls, and added a door and some windows. It's big enough for a queen bed, and a small living-room area with a couple of chairs and a TV. Its used mainly for guests at his place. its extremly cozy, and you would never guess in a million years that it started out as a truck box.

I'll have to get some pictures of it next time we are both down at the same time.

Yikes. Is Beloit that bad nowadays? I have an aunt & uncle out there and I've never been.

Ohhh, I saw one tonight. A full how HVAC system on a rack above propane tanks vented into the camper. Surely they're stationary, but still! I can't wait to get a picture tomorrow.

Beloit has improved. Beautiful along the river in town. South Beloit, IL and Rockford.... Well, not so good.

That's a swamp cooler, water running over pads with a blower, will drop the air 10 to 12 degrees below ambulant temp, probably better then most A/C.
