Not always. I've been in maybe 2 CG's where all that was on your post was a receptacle. The breakers were in a centrally located locked box! I hated just plugging into a hot receptacle without the benefit of turning off the breaker first. The only saving grace was being able to plug in my surge protector first.

I think it is for the cheapskates out there who want to save $2/night for 30amp service vs 50amp service and then pop a breaker causing work for the campground.

I’m surprised that people couldn’t reset their own breaker. But I have been at a place like 05crewdually described where the breakers pop in a remote panel. Just once, though.

Just their way getting extra $$ for eventually having to replace a worn/weak breaker. They don't seem to care that the problem may be on their end!!

There isn't necessarily anything wrong with the CG wiring. In our last several RV's all the AC devices turned on together may pull way more than 30 Amps. Converter / Charger 2-5 Amps, A/C 12 Amps up to 18 Amps when cycling, water heater 3-5 Amps, Convection Oven 9-15 Amps...

My wife got a lesson in power management at the FROG Rally this year when she tried that combination. After resetting the AC breaker, and our surge guard, she had to turn off the A/C while the convection oven was on...

The 2800 Watt, approximately 24 Amps, generator in our new motor home makes power management even more important. With only roughly 20 Amps available after the converter / charger usage we have to plan very carefully...and turn off the A/C a lot!

There is something wrong with the CG wiring if you can’t reset the breaker at the pedestal at your site!

Speaking of Australia, saw this last week in the Walmart parking lot in Cortez, CO. I originally thought it was from Australia. I think that emblem on this side for some reason made me think Australia. It's actually from Italy and it is hard to make out but that map on the back showed where it had been in Europe, Asia, Canada and the USA. Pretty cool...

Looks like a possible Super B. 3 domes on the roof, I imagine one is the AC, one is a skylight and the 3rd, maybe an antenna. Definitely cab forward. Must be a foreign chassis manufacturer, and it ain't going to be cheap.

Ok, so I’ll ask.

Why are you still in Elkhart? The FROG Rally ended back in August. Haven’t you noticed attendance is down for the zip line.

What you drinkin’ bud?

Things you see in an RV Park

Ken, I was in Amana for phrogtoberfest and we are on our way back. Stopped here for a day or two or three. But I can't say why yet.
