And for those complaining about derails in this thread, the quickest, easiest way to re-rail it is to post up a picture of an RV that makes you go "Hmmmmmmm".

IMHO, For the life of me I don't understand why anyone has an issue with derails. It's what humans bring to the table. Now if this was a purely technical thread about model XYZ deflabulator that would be different but it's chit chat about things that are related to campers and camping and an interesting sight you have seen. Maybe it would make the control freaks feel better if this thread was called" Anything you see interesting relating to campers and camping, inside and out."

Putting on my moderator hat for a second...

We realize that off-topic posts/conversations are bound to occur. As long as they are within the site rules, they usually aren't a problem.

Occasionally we might move some posts out into their own thread if, for example, it's a separate problem than what the thread was originally about and we feel it might get better visibility and/or responses on it's own rather than being buried in a 50-post thread about another subject.

As for this thread in particular, it's wandered this way and that since it was started 3 years ago. It will get back on track eventually. Moving all the off-topic posts out of this thread (and all the other threads that have gone astray) would be a gargantuan effort and probably more trouble than it's worth.

So, let's please all remember to play nice and

For some reason these are popular around my home. Some like this and others some of the neatest shingle sided cabins built on the back of vintage pickups.

Funny thing though, many of them have "Legalize Pot" or similar stickers on the rear as well as a big "Peace Sign".

Amen.

I love rabbit hunting.

It's how we talk when face to face. Why not here? Limiting all threads to match the topic that someone chose.....well....not all conversations do that. Some need to, yes.

I do have to say this. The moderators on this forum are the best, hands down. They all have an incredible balance and that is why this forum is so popular. Even if I get SOB I will stay here too for it's wealth of knowledge and balance. Kudos to the moderators.

I have not used a Punic CG in 33 years when I sold the 30' TT. Bigger units and I only use private now. Sadly the last 2 years I've felt the need for reservations. The last 2 CG had dedicated tent areas and the current one no tents period. Now we call and reserve a site for a 43' 5er. Currently have a Newmarket on one side and a 25' TT on the other. Not a tent, popup,or hybrid in the CG.

He would be tossed out of the facility I use in 1 business day. He would have his cc charged for cleanup too.

The lot operator should scrape up the solids, mop up the remainder with a couple sponges, then send it via UPS to the owner's house. Include a note "You left this under your trailer we just wanted to return it to you".

Way back when I got out of High School I worked part time in an old fashioned gas station, Pumped gas, checked oil, tires, and battery water. We had real nice waste cans at every pump island but people insisted on just opening their doors and shaking the contents of their full ashtray's on the pavement beside their car. Back then I wanted to just sweep the butts into an envelope and hand it to the driver along with their change.

I had been thinking that maybe it was an accident- but it sure appears that it’s been done quite a few times.

Did you say something to management?
