Yes, been there. 2 Coachman RV rallies. Yes, been backed up to the tracks. While having a conversation with the neighbor, train goes by and actually stop talking cause you can't here what each other is saying. All day, all night. No more interest in going back to Goshen again.

Not in an RV park or pulling a 5ver, but saw this in a hotel I was in last night. I don't think I've ever seen a 14 wheel tractor before.

dblr could mount a turntable on it and haul a bigger car than that Smart car - maybe a Fiat 500 or a Mini-Cooper!

Boy I like the way you think!!!! I am just pushing 65' now so that would put me WAY OVER length, plus I would not want to replace all those tires or could not imagine how hard my EZ Pass would get hit at the toll booths

I've seen quite a few like this but usually still connected to the trailer. Heavy haul rigs that have a tandem axle dolly, tandem or triple axle trailer, and a long extension on the trailer with a couple more axles on it.

They usually haul huge transformers for power plants or reactor vessels.

Biggest one I saw on the road was on the grade East of Pendleton OR called "Cabbage Hill". 10 miles of UP. The truck and heavy haul trailer had another tractor connected to the rear to push. Pusher had a couple of huge concrete blocks attacked to its 5th wheel for traction weight.

Probably took the driver over an hour just to check tire pressures before starting out in the morning.

If you could afford the tires to begin with EZPass would seem like pocket change 😁

Ya, singles. By the size of the fenders it can only hold a singe. BTW, the front set is in lifted position. Only six on the ground right now.

I zoomed in on my original pic - you're right - SRW's; I didn't walk around it (DW was in a hurry), I just "assumed" they were duals. Well, we know what assuming does!

He has beacons on the roof so I'm going to say he's a heavy hauler. I have seen plenty of semi tractors where the tandems are duals and the tag axle has singles. I have also seen them with duals on the tag. I even seen a dual tag on the rear, dual tandem drivers and dual tag in front under the back side of the sleeper, then of course the steers for a total of 18 tires. I worked for 2 years at Petro Madison when I was younger.

Google: Army heavy equipment transporter and count the tires, tractor and trailer. If memory serves me correcctly, there are multiple steering axles.
