It’s to remind folks that our toilets are different from theirs at home in the Far East.

Back in the 80's while in the Navy, I came across some of those squat toilets in Turkey. If I remember correctly, I saw one in France also.

It really only effects it when backing up, it turns quicker. I have never noticed any tt type sway in the 5 years I have been towing with mine.

It is best to not keep the commercial 5th wheel hitch and switch to a very good air ride rv style 5th wheel hitch, if not yes you could do some serious frame damage to a camper. I have what is called a ET Hitch especially designed for this purpose and really only available from the man who designed it. There is another hitch using air cells that some are using also with good results.

we were in China six weeks in 2012, flew into Hong Kong and out of Beijing, ... these "hole in the floor" toilets were everywhere, ... all public BR's, all the homes we visited(except one in a brand new building), trains, stores, restaurants, even in U.S. company bathrooms like McDonald's and KFC, everywhere, ... another VERY different custom there was, no toilet paper in public BR's or napkins in restaurants, ... everybody carries their own, all the stores sell small packages of tissue, similar to the purse packages of kleenex, by the cases, ... it's truly a different world outside of this country, we have a lot to be thankful for,

yes, this has nothing to do with an RV park, but I thought you might like to know about it, ...

Looks way cleaner than it would be in real everyday use.

the one in that pic is apparently brand new, ... it even has one of the censers that will auto flush when you get up and leave, that's new, ... never saw one with that feature while we were there(post #6149), ... so apparently the use of this style of toilet isn't something that is phasing out to the more U.S. style, ... all the public toilets did have plumbed water and valve to flush, but some of DW's family and friend's homes didn't, those would keep a bucket of water at the "hole" to self flush(and then refill the bucket from the sink faucet for the next use), ...

And that one is a lot nicer than the ones I saw in Iraq. Even saw a PortaPotty with that. It was about 3 feet taller than normal to allow room to stand on the seat.

That's a mighty small hole when you can't really "see it." Do people really aim that well?

Some guys can't hit a urinal when it's right in front of them!

That's very common. The deceased was most likely a truck driver and they were honoring them. They also have a bob-tail procession at times when a trucker passes, if a lot of their friends are also drivers.

LOL, my first experience with squat toilets was also in Turkey in a shared, as in men and women facility in 1965. I did a triple check, walked outside, waited and noted both sexes entering and leaving before going back to relieve myself.

Make sure you get your brakes checked. We flooded like this in Port Aransas once and it got so deep it ruined our brake linings and they had to be replaced.
