Rig parked next to me at the International Rally. Interesting use of leveling blocks. Guy initially backed onto a similar but shorter stack, was unhappy with the level, pulled out a box of the blocks and added more. He did not use all of the blocks he had.

Camping in Old Forge 2 weekends ago and get a call from the front desk. You need to move your truck its blocking another camper from backing into his site. So, I pull the Sierra up 10 feet so this guy can pull into my site to finish backing into his. He was 95% straight and square when I got there. Not sure why he needed to pull ahead 30 foot to square up. Oh. Check out how much that bad boy is squatting. Bed of the truck was FULL!!!

Yep, boat & canoe behind the 5th wheel are gone in 2nd photo. Looks like the front cap is starting to bubble as well.
Hope no one got hurt. Best wishes for getting repaired/replaced.

I didn’t even notice the boat missing in the second picture. I had assumed they were trying to release the fifth wheel so they could save it.
I doubt the ford’s gonna be repaired. On a different forum somebody was showing the after affects of his Superduty catching fire. Only the frame was left, nothing remained that was fixable. And if that fire reached the Rockwood, chances are it’s also in a pretty bad state.
As you stated though, the important part is hoping nobody got hurt. Everything else can be replaced.

There was an article the other day about Ford trucks seat belts causing fires. NHTA still looking into it to see if they need a recall. Would be massive for Ford. Same folks that made the defective air bags  Later RJD

Its only the auto retractor in an accident that is the problem. Not that many and no one hurt.
