Not in the park, but we saw this old camper on display at a boat and car show in Lake George.

Yep, sure miss those round knobs next to the gas pedal especially on a hill when it died because of anticipating the light to change and the parking brake won’t hold you from rolling backwards.

So left foot on brake petal, right foot on starter, pull the choke to rev the engine with your right heel, not too much gas or when you released the brake and pushed the clutch and put into first gear you might kill it again. Once you get it home, you fix the brake!

I drive by this Gem almost every day on the way to "work". They were paving the road today so I was able to get a good picture of it while stopped in traffic.Click image for larger version

Reminds me of the RV from Christmas vacation.

Looks exactly like the one that my FIL owned when DW and I were just married. He and MIL took it all of the USA. Wife and I would travel with them in the summer.

Wonderful memories.

Thanks for the pic.

This reminds me of modern motorcycle tent trailers. Here's one of the larger ones I've seen.

Looks great! Some assembly required. It would be much easier with a second person to help.

Is that Lake George, CO? We went to summer camp there with Scouts a few years ago.

Beautiful area! Would love to go back with a camper some day.

I like that camper leg support. One push with the toe and it's all set. Need that to make my custom stair support. Anyone know where to get?

Not today. Someday when the owner is outside I will probably stop and ask about it [emoji3]

The Falcon 5 was newer than that. Like an 89 or 90. That one is older. Thinking its a mide 70s unit. (I had an 87 Winnebago Chieftain, thats the only reason i know this. The Falcon 5 was almost the same as mine, but with a newer nose cap)

Can you say Low Rider? I missed seeing it come into the campground. Naturally it doesn't sit that low when towing. At first glance the low sitting trailer does catch everyone off guard.
