Maybe it's a wrap, like the advertising prints on buses? Lots of little pinholes provide a means to see through it with the impression from the outside of being a solid surface? But it would be dark, yes.

Who said they were camping?

I bought a fifth wheel in 2012 and have used it for almost 2000 nights and only "went camping" a handful of times.

What's just ridiculous? To which post are you referring? The Quote function would have helped.

We over nighted at the Jennings KOA, around Lake City, FL. Got in late and woke up fairly early to see this behind us. The owner never came out before we had to get rolling.Click image for larger version

We were winterizing our 5th wheel on our seasonal site yesterday. I had just finished everything up and was putting all my hoses and stuff away in my shed.

The water spigot that my hose attaches to had been leaking/spraying water everywhere for months. I went to disconnect my hose and trying to avoid the spray everywhere and suddenly the top part where the actual faucets are snapped off. Suddenly we had a geyser on our site.

Of course the CG manager (nor any other CG employee) was on site at the time. I finally got a hold of him and he had to drive in to shut the water off at one of the main valves that feeds about 10 different campsites. Luckily the CG is 99% empty this time of year.

I don't feel too bad about it because he's known about it since it started leaking and has told us 2 or 3 times that he'll get it fixed. Now he has no choice.
