That is cool. Wonder if she does 100mph?

I had a 2008 chevy 2500 extended van with duramax diesel full conversion with raised roof. It would run 99mph but then the cutout would kick in.

The bed appears to be mid-late 90s ford.

Yes it was a Ford bed and I believe a old B model Mack front end, not sure what power plant he used but it sounded great

Although the headlights aren't visible, the general body shape of the front end says early 70s to me.

Rockwood started producing pop-ups as their first offering in 1975 or so. Looks like about a 1979 to me.

Thanks- I thought dashboards were padded by the late 70s. That one is all metal like my 1968 Olds 88. It might just be a Dodge thing. I think you are right about the age. Still looks good!

You could get a padded dash in the 50's. It was an option on higher end cars.

The Dodge "B van" was available as an RV chassis to RV manufacturers and other upfitters. This looks like a Sportsman model, probably 1976 to 1978. It definitely is not an upscale chassis. They were pretty bare bones, and the upfitter added any upgrades such as A/C and cruise to the completed unit. It was very common to have a 1979 RV with a 1978 chassis. RV manufacturers would buy a block of chassis from Chrysler and let them sit on the lot until they were ready to build the RV.

You must have good eyes!
I blew that up until blurry and never could see the dashboard. Padded or not!

Had a '67 Dodge Dart 4-door with a padded dash. The dash was "soft"; if you hit it you might not break your nose but you would get a couple of magnificent shiners. It hardened with age and sunlight. It was my first car and it was a blast to drive.
