Think I'm gona buy me a BOAT!

Michigan weather!

I think I am trading in the RV for a BOAT.

Starting today on the ten day forecast, we are
slated for some form of rain for 8 out of the
next 10 days.

I am not living in the monsoon rain forest.
(Or at least I did'nt think I was.) Now, I am
not against going camping in the rain. I just
can not believe how unpredictable Michigan
weather can be.

Some of you might want to pay a visit and
experience it for yourself sometime as by the
time you finish reading this our forecast will
be predicting a drought. Enough said!

Ummmmmmm............ Try Texas, give it 5 minutes and the weather WILL change!

We've been in a MAJOR drought for the past 2 1/2 years (most lakes were down at least 10 ft. below normal, some 20 or more below) until this past January when we started getting a little rain. The past 3 months we have been really getting the rain. All but about 3 lakes here are at or over normal. More rain on the way.

Our first weekend out this year was also a rain-soaked affair.... but you know, after a winter of watching TV and wishing for the season to start, my super wicked wasabi-hot wife and I pulled out some good books, cards and games and really enjoyed ourselves. At least until we had to go outside.
