Tilex for cleaning awning

To who ever posted about using Tilex Mold and Mildew to clean the awning, THANKS!! It works great! We had some small pitch spots on our awning we couldn't get off, first spray of the Tilex and you could see it start to run. Works better than the awning cleaner from the RV stores and I'm sure it is much cheaper too.

I urge you all to try it, works great. I'm a Tilex believer now.

I don't remember seeing the other post but thanks for posting it after you cleaned your awning. It's on this weekend's to do list. I used Tilex before on the bottom of the tent surround on our old hybrid pulldown beds. They used to get a little funky after rain. They would feel dry but I'm sure there was some moisture in there and it would mildew.

I have used Tilex on awnings for years without problems. Just be sure to rinse it very well and let the awning dry completely before rolling it back up.

I've been using it for years too. Tilex and Magic Eraser are my two favorite cleaning products.
