My preference of no slideout has nothing to do with weight. I do alot of overnights at Walmart, rest stops and other such places. I'd prefer to be able to have full use of the trailer's interior without having to deploy slideouts. My trailer now is mostly unusable with the slideouts closed. I would not object to slides provided that I can still make full use of the trailer with them closed.

My wife and I have a Flagstaff 21 FBRS. It is same trailer as the Rockwood 2109S. It has a small sofa slide, but most everything can be accessed with the slide in.

It has a jackknife sofa that could sleep a smaller guest.

I am almost as tall as you and don't have an issue with ceiling height.

It does have a short Queen mattress so that might be an issue with your height.
