Tip out

This will be the first winter that I have a TT to store in western PA. I have noticed in my travels, that some store their TT with the Tip Outs extended and some are retracted. I personally think it makes sense to keep them retracted, for protection. But what do I know.

Is there any "right" answer or is it just personal preference?

Thanks.

Unless you're going to be in it a lot, there's no reason to leave the slide out.
That leaves the seals exposed to weather and greater possibility of water intrusion.
The trailer will be better sealed by leaving the slide in.
