The fact that this makes me a little safer justified the bigger price in my mind.
I also have the Dewalt 20V compressor. Works great for truck and trailer tires.

Uses the same battery as the drill I use for the stabilizer jacks.

I also bought the AC adapter and a short extension hose with a quick connect.

What is the Duty Cycle for the Dewalt compressor?

I have one made by Husky that I got at Home Depot for about 75 bucks. It runs off both standard electric and the cigarette lighter. I've only needed it once but it has been fine so far.

Bought this. DOes the job and a lot cheaper than viaair

Hose and fittings were junk and oddball. Replaced QDs and bought a rubber hose and gauge.

Not sure on the duty cycle. I checked the manual that came with it and it does not list the duty cycle.

It is a portable light duty inflator. Works great for maintaining air pressure in tires on my trailer and truck.

As an example, I have increased the pressure in all 4 tires on my truck from 45 to 60 PSI with it and had no issues with it stopping or overheating.

Here is link to it.
