I believe the (Dewalt 20-Volt MAX Inflator has been mentioned 3 times above, and I'd like to add my recommendation. The ease of using a cordless inflator makes it so painless (as much as possible) that I find I check my tire pressure more frequently. The fact that this makes me a little safer justified the bigger price in my mind.
I also have the Dewalt 20V compressor. Works great for truck and trailer tires.
Uses the same battery as the drill I use for the stabilizer jacks.
I also bought the AC adapter and a short extension hose with a quick connect.

I have one made by Husky that I got at Home Depot for about 75 bucks. It runs off both standard electric and the cigarette lighter. I've only needed it once but it has been fine so far.
