Tire on the loose, scary
Driving on the turnpike when this happened. Guys spare tire fell off from underneath. I am not sure if he even noticed or not. If you look closely you can see a couple of chunks of metal also. I am driving a 38' Class A and this could have been pretty bad. Luckily nobody hit it that I am aware of. I had a semi coming up on my left to pass but he hadn't made it to me yet so I was able to do some maneuvering. I then had to pull over and put the groceries back into the fridge, could have been a lot worse. I had the cruise control on about 66 mph and he must been doing around 60-63 mph so I was catching up to him if that would have happened 2 or 3 seconds later it would have been a different story. On a side note is there a better fridge lock than these stupid straps?

So the noise you hear in the video was your refrigerator spilling it contents?
You didn't hit the tire?
BTW... excellent video quality on the dash cam.
What brand?
You might want to correct the date stamp for insurance reasons. 2015.

I think that noise might have been the window blinds smacking and no I didn't hit it. Didn't even notice the time stamp, thanks.
This is the dash cam I have

Hmmmm...I get a black screen with a note at the top that says "your ad will close in 8 seconds" and then it counts down. I can hear the video, I just can't see it.

Whoa! Not good. I saw something similar to this on the way home from work a few years back. The tire bounced all the way across 4 lanes of northbound traffic. I don't think anyone hit it, and I have no idea which vehicle it came from, but it was very weird.
Oh, I can see the video fine.

I keep a ratchet strap around my spare and the spare tire cross frame under my fiver for just this reason. Relying on just the spare hoist isn't a good practice.

Yeah, I had the same problem until I turned my ad blocker on.
