Toilet overflooded

Still open late in WI in October. Came back up after 3 days and the campground water, when I turned it on, was not flowing after the colder night. So, I have the fresh water tank full and turned on the pump and heard it running more than I would have thought it should run to pressure the lines. Then, I shut off the pump, checked the campground water and it was still not flowing. So, I tuned on the pump again for just a bit and it kept running! Shut if off and then the next thing I found was that there was water all over the bathroom floor! I thought for sure that a water line had burst under the bathroom sink, but then when I lifted the toilet lid, I saw that the bowl was full and the water was overflowing from the toilet bowl!

Sounds like the toilet valve broke internally when it froze. Water ran into bowl without the "flap" being open.
Valv
Some good news (maybe), a replacement valve for your toilet is a fairly easy fix and valves are often stocked at Dealer's or RV Supply Stores. Also on Amazon. Figure $30-$40 for a replacement if you do it yourself.

I don't know if it broke or if it was just a bit "frozen" until we warmed up the camper today, but it seems to be working well now. I had the camper temp set at 40 degrees which it was at when we arrived today.

Don't know if what could maybe be a problem IF I have the fresh water pump on AND also have the campground water supply turned on. I may have done that cause the campground water supply was temporarily frozen up a bit.
