Tonneau cover / Eastern Shore

I want to get a tonneau cover for my truck. I know where to get one in PA at a good price. Not enthusiastic about going back just for that.

Anyone have suggestions for the Eastern Shore of Maryland? I don’t see much using Google. I do see some shops on the other side of the bay but I have become spoiled here because the area and people are so nice.

Getting more chill by the day,

Bobby

I got my last two tonneau covers from Amazon. Probably one of the easiest installation projects.

Got my Lomax online from a guy everyone was raving about on the Ford forums. That was 3 years ago though. 700 and change back then. Installed it myself. One of those manly men jobs you feel good doing yourself, and you feel like a man when you finish it. The only tough part was the rails that clamp to the bed rails were an exact length of bed, so OEM bed liner interfered with the length of rails at cab end. Dremel tool to rescue, (love when I find new uses for that thing), easily cut notches in bed liner to make sure rails were seated properly at back wall of pickup bed.

Maybe on some brands but the Tyger cover I ordered was $28 less than AutoAnything or Carid.

The last time I looked NAPA carried some covers. Not sure what style you're looking for. Mine came from Crutchfield in Gloucester Va. (Western Shore)

I purchased my Extang Trifecta 2.0 Soft Folding Truck Bed Tonneau Cover #92480 thru Amazon.

My F150 is a 157" WB with a 6.5' Bed.

I've used Extang soft fold tonneau covers on the last 3 F-series trucks I have owned and they have worked get for my needs. Easy installation.

I got a hard surface three-panel tonneau from Weathertech. Easy to install, looks good, exact fit.

I would recommend online. They tend to be less expensive than stores dedicated to aftermarket parts and accessories.

Plenty of good suggestions offered, thanks.

I had a Truxsport roll up on my F150 and was satisfied. Planned to get same thing again. But I will check out these suggestions.

It also depends if you want a soft or hard cover. I wanted a hard cover. I chose a Bak Revolver x4s. It is an upgrade to original Revolver. I ordered on the Bak site using their chat and saved about $100. Still pricey but I wanted a hard cover because of where I camp. I camp where bears could be an issue. Should arrive today. Now I just need new truck to arrive.

True but not as easy as a soft cover. Also a little harder for thieves.

Got my TruXedo Deuce cover through Amazon Prime Deal of the Day.

Rolls up for 5th wheel towing (no rear window obstruction) but also folds back for fast toolbox access when not.

I had a Truxedo LoPro rollup on my Tacoma, loved it. I have another on the F350 and still love it. The rollup works well for us towing and all the rest of the time when not. I also found out that I can unroll it down to the hitch, when we're parked overnight but still hitched, and it's going to rain. The 5er overhangs the bed and the unrolled cover keeps the rest of the bed dry. I got them online and installed myself... the rollups are pretty simple to install with like two tools LOL.
