3 C vs. 37 C? Isn't there something in the middle? Say, 20 C!

I live in Yuma, Arizona where tomorrow and Wednesday it is supposed to get up to 119 degrees.

However, I just flew out yesterday and am in Michigan, where it is supposed to be a balmy 86 today.

I just parked my 5’ver in the storage lot last week and the temp inside the RV was 135 degrees while I was taking stuff out of it.

I read that temps above 114 can ruin LED TV’s so I removed both of them.

I have a 30amp RV so the 13.5K AC unit is basically worthless at these temps.

This was the temp on my front porch the other day:

We are in Tucson and Scottsdale AZ frequently for family and medical visits and use our RV as a hotel. In the summer it is usually 100 - 110 degrees. Sometimes spikes to 115, but only for a day or two.

Our rig stays comfortable, never really pay attention to what the actual temp inside is. Yes, the 15k a/c runs 24 hours a day so we use 50amp hookups. When we are inside, we point the vents right on us. We use towels on windows that have afternoon sun. We block all the skylights and vents. Don't use the oven. Use a fan to move air. Never turn the A/C off when we leave for the day as it will never catch up again.

Hi,

We travelled from Illinois to Austin, TX this week, arriving yesterday in 105 degree temps. Got down to 80 last nite. Predicted high today is 108.

We have 50 amps, running the air on continuous, and doing ok. But don't let anyone tell it isn't so bad because it's a dry heat...

I spent the summer in Jacksonville, FL in the Navy. 85 deg, 95-100% humidity, rained every day for 10 minutes at 4pm in July; moved to 2pm in August. You could set your watch by it. It was AWFUL. In Oct, I transferred to Ventura County, CA just in time for the Santa Anna winds off the desert. 105 - 110 deg, 10% humidity. It was a LOT better.

You may not agree that dry heat "isn't so bad," but IMHO, it's a heck of a lot BETTER than humidity. I'll take heat over humidity any day.
