Too Many Problems

We bought a 2018 FR3 30DS in October 2017. We were rushed thru the "walk through" when we picked up the RV at the dealership. Then the problems started:

1. The bathroom and kitchen vent covers shattered over the winter. We were able to get Forest River to reimburse us for them.
2. The front AC unit has leaked back in to the RV ever since we purchased it. Our mechanic told us the factory did not place the AC unit correctly on the roof and failed to tighten up all the bolts. It is very difficult to sleep when all you hear is water dripping into a bucket!
3. We have had to replace all the "O" rings in all the water lines. We had the sink and shower go first; now the plumbing under the kitchen sink.

4. The over bed constantly disengages from the side connections when we drive on the highway. We have had to place blankets in between the bed and the ceiling to minimize the noise. Just waiting for it to completely fall down!

This is a just a few things we found are annoying and could be dangerous.
We NEVER buy another Forest River product!

Are you asking for the communities help in solving these issues, or just venting your frustrations?

Mainly venting my frustration. When you buy a product new, you don't think you will to start replacing and fixing things from the beginning. Very poor quality!

It’s part of the RV life. Many get lucky many more are not . The more you travel the more you learn and repair.
I feel for the new owners that experience many issues on there first few trips. But if your RV has good bones and a great layout it’s worth investing time to do all the small repairs and improvements to have great trips. I’m sure we all have felt your pain at some point.
Good luck with your RV and enjoy the time with your friends and family.

OK, we will need to close this thread since you are not asking for any help in solving. As per the site guidelines:

https://www.forestriverforums.com/fo...ork&page=rules

Customer Disputes: This forum is not intended to be a mechanism for people to solely vent frustrations about services, products, vendors, or sales. Please settle your differences with the seller, provider, manufacturer, or dealer through other means but not through our community. You may post about problems you have with Forest River products in an effort to learn from others with similar issues, however the use of the forums to repeatedly attack or bash Forest River, Forest River products, or Forest River owners is strictly forbidden.
----------------------------------------------------

If you decide to keep the RV and perhaps need some community help from fellow Forest River RV owners in fixing/solving things, then feel free to open a thread on the specific matter.

Also feel free to contact myself or any of the site team via the private message function, if you have any questions about the forums.
