Torque specs on lugs

Looking for some info please. Went to pick up our 2008 FR Surveyor 233T from storage today only to find out we had a flat tire. Valve stem decided it had enough.

Tire is repaired but I can't find what to torque the lug nuts at. I can tell you that that brake drums are Axeltek but can't tell what the axles are. I looked on line and found specs anywhere from 85 to 120 ft lbs.

Does any one know what to torque at?

Many thanks,
Jim

I have aluminum rims and torque to 95. Don't forget to check them a few times in the first couple of hundred miles.

I had a 2005 Keystone with steel rims and there was such a problem that they were forced to send out a mailer with a movie showing you a wheel under turning stress and saying that torque should be 150lb/ft.

On my current 5er, the rims are aluminum and the manual says 110. I wouldn't go over that because I don't think standard aluminum rims could take it.

Thanks guys.
I forgot to mention that I have steel rims. I set the torque to 110 ' lbs, sorta between 95 and 150. Will recheck after some miles are driven.

There should be a sticker / tag on the middle of your axles that tells you the manufacturer's info. If you find it, a call to them will get you the torque info.

Have 15 inch AL wheels on my Flagstaff TT. Was told by FR tech that 95 lbs was a good torque for these wheel. With AL wheel you need to re torque ever so often after replacing the wheel. Hope this helps. Safe travels to you!
