Kcoulter I agree the dealer is BSing. It comes as a package.

On a similar note, I have an older system with the screw on pucks. I have the monitor on the dashboard near the other gauges. I would loose the monitors when driving. By chance, I realized it was only happening when I had the phone connected by Bluetooth to the truck's system. Work's fine when the phone is not connected, so radio interference can be an issue.

I don't know if this applies to your situation but apparently some units do come without the the display.

I have a 2020 FR Rockwood and it came complete with the sensors and monitor. Like others I found it in one of the drawers. I would contact the dealer and see if they will make it right by offering a monitor. The amount of bad advertising they are getting already should be enough to remedy this issue quickly.

TST Tire Pressure System Owners

Always possible someone walking through the unit looking or a potential buyer snagged it. They do look good and if itís sitting in a drawer itís very possible it walked. Some folks canít resist grabbing loose thing. A dealer told me that can be a problem with an un-accompanying walkthrough. But this doesnít let the dealer off the hook, they should provide all equipment you were promised and should be a no brainer! Good luck.

You canít change the batteries. Just like the ones installed in new cars, the internal sensors are designed to be swapped out when the batteries die. The manual list an expected life span if around 5 years.

I must have a different unit. I change the batteries on my four sensors last fall. They take a button battery. TST also sells rebuild kits. Replaced my gaskets just for safety.

Yes these are mounted inside the tires on bands around the wheel.

We just purchased a 2021 Forest River Flagstaff E19FBS. The website and brochure says TPMS was included as standard equipment. Indeed, when we picked up the trailer they handed us a kit wit the monitor, mounting attachments and instructions. The sensors were already on the wheels. Check the website to see if it is standard equipment. I believe that FR is making TPMS std on all models.

I called the company TST and they informed me that I should have received the complete set up.
I'm just curious what other owners are receiving.
Next question, are you pleased with this unit?

Thanks in advance, Gary
We bought a 2020 FR ROCKWOOD 2706ws and it came with the same system.
I mounted the monitor using the suction cup to the right of my rear view mirror.
This way my wife ( copilot) has one more task to do. The system works great. Go back to your dealer to get the monitor.

Have no idea how to get it to work

I have followed the directions several times but Iíve never been able to get it to work properly. It always tells me my tires have no air. When checked manually, they are fine. I can use help with that.

Old thread I know, but just bought a 2020 FKS, barely used by the original owner. I haven't been able to talk to him directly, but trying to find out if this system was included in 2020. He bought it 12/2020. It has the decal on the site, the green caps on the tires. There is a sheet in the owner packet, but no real info.
thanks

Th green caps indicate the tires are inflated with nitrogen ( at one time).

Lol, yes, I went out and checked them after I posted this. You are correct sir.
I guess the decal etc is just marketing. I will just buy a system.
Cheap insurance I think.

thanks

In '09 before TPMS really started to grow I had a system from Europe. I also had a Bluetooth back-up camera. Had occasional problems till I confirmed radio (Bluetooth) interferance. So this is not unusual with all the electronice.

TST TPMS

I would bet that the TT came with a TST TPMS. Look at the inside of the frame near the front of the TT for the signal booster. This is a picture of what it looks like. Some TT's came with the monitor and some didn't.

IF it has the sending units internal to the tires/wheels you can purchase just the monitor. It will just need to be programmed to the sending units.

We just bought a used 2020 Flagstaff 529RLKS. The truck system technologies tire monitoring system is standard but we don't have a monitor. Can't find it anywhere. The tires on our unit have been changed. How can I tell, without having a monitor, that I still have this system and just need the monitor?

Thanks
