ok, doesn't seem to be a question here but I am curious on what you are using to get wifi on the road? We have a Roku at home and it may be worthwhile to take with us depending on wifi capabilities.
I have a small wifi device from Verizon and for 2gb I pay thirty a month. I connect to it with an IPad and slap top. You would chew up 2gb pretty quick with videos but they have a range of plans. I get 4g service most places I go.

I'll need to give verizon a call seems i'm paying 50 for the same service unless i get the 4 gb.. i'll have to look now . . .either way you do have to watch your use
I have a mifi from verizon that works great. I can connect multiple devices and stream movies/watch Netflix. I have a plan through work with unlimited data for $30 per month.
