TV backer

Just how big of a screw can a person use where the "TV Backer" sticker is located? I'd like to hang a small electric fan where the tv would go in the bedroom.

Check the thickness of the wall. Usually 1 1/2 inch is safe, but you don't want it long enough to come through the other side. Don't ask me how I know!

I would make sure that the Backer is there with a stud finder first. In other sites, people are having trouble finding the backer board.

Yeah, that's the thing. The label is an inch long. Where does the backer start and end?
